AKG K701 cable repair

I've got a small problem with my k701 headphones. Sometimes, when I move the cable going into the left ear cup, the audio cuts out in the left channel until I move it around again. It must be a bad soldering joint. I'm wondering if I could send these off to somebody to get them repaired. Maybe a recable if anyone could give me a ballpark estimate on how much that will cost. I'll just end up buying a pair of k702 headphones and using these for the road if I can't get it fixed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I used Robert to repair my K701, which had a similar problem.  He does excellent work as he also recabled my T1s.

Is that a link to his webpage or is Robert a user on this site?

Robert is the owner.  His email is actually email@aphroditecu29.com

You can tell him Steve recommended him as Robert put his Zeus Hex24 balanced on my T1s.
