i have these headphones. they are excellent. they cancel out noise and sound well with my 80gb 5th generation ipod. they are very accurate and comfortable in my opinion. the build quality is great. very thick and durable plastic. and they fold in numerous positions. some flaws: they have a very tight fit on your head, and also have a long coiled cord. they aren't very portable, but that doesn't stop me from using them at school. these are my favorite headphones out of my sennheiser hd 555 and my grado sr80.

Excellent sound. A couple of points though. Tight fitting with hard feeling earcups - I can't wear them for hours without discomfort. Bass is strange - sometimes I find it anemic and other times very deep. Can depend on the head fit.

eBay your 'phones and upgrade to a set of Shure SRH840s.  Street price is around $150 and they're insanely good for anything in that $$$ class.  You won't be disappointed if you like accuracy, and they sound great even without a headphone-specific amp.  In a less-than-ideal scenario (I run my set out of an old NAD 304's 'phone jack) they sound fantastic; in the context of that system budget range, of course.  Even on an iPod with a garden variety CMOY amp they're still fun to listen to.  I think they do a 30-day money-back guarantee, to top it off.  My other 'phones for that room are the Sennheiser HD 280 Pros, and they haven't seen much action since I bought the 840s.  Just MHO :)
