basic cmoy

opa2134...didn't find another ((((

nichicon 470 mf

gain of 7 if i remember right :D

and r5 of 68 ohm...as i use it mainly with low impedance headphones )

UPDATE )

listened to your advices and tried smd :D

                                                                  P.S in this ^ angle should be a tle2426...wich i don't have ((((((((((((

the most interesting is underneath :P

opa2134

input caps...1mf

one 470mf cap for the power supply and hope a tle2426 )

gain of  5.7

r5 of 33 ohm  )

If R5 is outside feedback loop it will cause very high output impedance which may affect sound quality.

I would lower the gain to 3 and remove R5

Nice layout btw. Next try SMD:

I wouldn't worry about R5 at 68ohms its not a big issue especially with low imp phones, the layouts a cracker, very neat

cheers

thx )...i would try another opamp...or even a railsplitter...but in my country i barelly found the opa2134 and decent caps...i don;t even dream to find a good kit for a amp like pimeta......and  i'm a newbie...i like diy stuff...but i'm not able to make modifications all by myself except the layout...and things that i read from tangentsoft

i'm pretty proud of the layout...if only i could found componets for a better amp ....

Is there a certain technique you use to get those perfect, bead-like solder paths? I've been looking for a long time to figure out how to make them so pretty.

i can't say i have a certain technique...i just watched some tangentsoft videos about soldering(recomand watching)....and a little pacience and practice ;)...

and u need a powerfull soldering iron...and sharp )

Hmm. Thanks. Yeah, I'd consider myself pretty advanced at soldering (try hand soldering an 0402 smt resistor) but I've never been able to get the perfect beads like that. I've probably been using perfboard that has too small of copper rings.Maybe. Probably not thought, I just need to practice.

glad i could help )...i couldn't make those solder paths till i didn't find a good soldering iron thought...if it's sharp then it might be not powerfull enaugh...i just bought a powerfull one and changed the iron with a sharp one :D

P.S...i never had the chance to try soldering smt thought...in my country i barrely found to built this )...if i only coult find a good kit

Yeah, I have a digital temp controlled station that I got about a year ago, and I LOVE it. =extremely geeky birthday present

I gather my SMD resistors from old PCBs for example PC motherboards and old modems, digital TV receivers and so on. I heat the resistor alternating on the both sides until it slides away. Then I quickly grab it with tweezers. One PC motherboard can provide resistors for multiple projects. Only bad side is that the resistors are very small. It requires concentration and fresh eyes. I need to get a capacitance meter because there is a lot of tiny ceramic SMD capacitors in old PCBs and there is no reading on the top which value them are.

I like to scavenge parts from old electronics too.

Sometimes you can find great parts that are no longer available.

It's my version of recycling!

A hot air gun is a great tool to remove parts.

You can modify a paint stripper if you can't afford

a real temperature controlled hot air gun.

Nice one.

Here's one I've built a while ago. No as small as I could make it, but sure is small enough for the case I've used (which is about 20 times larger than the board :)):

The back before cleaning it (and one more thing to solder):

And the case:

u might wanna be carefull with the pins of this two ^ bottom resistors they look like they might touch ...and burn something )

overall it looks pretty nice...and i like the case...i didn't manage to find a good case...still searching )

Don't worry, they are soldered together on the other side of the board...
