huawei U8110 not so good on music

Hi all - I've been playing with my new Android phone, a Huawei U8110 (aka Pulse Mini). Although the phone itself is fine, the audio quality is rather poor. I' ve tried it with PortaPros and RE0s, and I can always hear the amp's hiss. Not only that, but it seems to push up everything between 300 Hz and 3kHz by at least 3 dB... really not a good phone for music. Then again, maybe there's some hidden setting or bad eq in there that I' ve missed.

I was surprised how good my Xperia X10 mini pro sounds. Just bass is a little shy. I had the highest end Walkman phone from Sony and it was crap.

Agreed - the pulse mini has the worst audio quality of any phone I've ever owned.

Still it's cheap.. and with 6 months unlimited internet I use it to tether and download all the avi files I want.
