This is the second best solid state headphone amp I have ever heard, only giving way to the $5000 EAR HP4.

 

It has all of the signal path wiring upgraded with Mundorf Silver/Gold wiring which opened the amp up with WAY more dynamics and more resolution. It also comes with $500 worth of exotic wood cases and knobs.

 The Bocote wood case sold individually, so now price is $930 shipped.

That's kinda sad 

 

Wondering why the difficulty in selling this. It looks great plus they're awesome amps though I've not heard them in person.

I dunno .... Skylab himself used this amp as his own for some time, and has even said it is one amp he occasionally misses after selling it. Most transparent and dynamic solid state headphone amp I heard, except for the HP4.
