To put it simple, the impulse response is just a different way to 'encode' the frequency response (magnitude and phase). The latter is far easier to interpret though (when just looking at it).

Awesome man! I already added Inner Fidelity to my RSS feed so I'll be on the lookout for something down the road.

 

No need to apologize for the dual 3-pin XLRs, but I definitely prefer the single 4-pin connector. Dual 3-pins does have some bling factor though.
