Description

Purchased about 3-4 weeks ago.  The item is in flawless cosmetic and operating condition.  I've used it for about a week and am getting rid of it because I want to go to a single cable setup with the Halide Bridge USB-SPDIF converter.  The sound quality is excellent, especially with high res files, and the driver setup was flawless.  Kernel streaming worked perfectly in Windows XP, I had zero setup issues with this unit.  It just worked.  I highly recommend buying a USB extension cable for this unit though, as it is quite bulky and will sag a bit due to the weight of the unit if connected directly to the USB port.

 

I will not open this unit up to determine if it has the large oscillators or the inferior small ones, but based on my listening I did not detect any of the symptoms of the "small clock" oscillator.  It sounded pretty damn good to me!

 

Price

I will let this unit go for $120 shipped to anywhere in the US.  Paypal only.  California buyers get priority for lower shipping costs for me :).
