Stello DA100 (SOLD now)

This was my first capable DAC that I appreciate a lot.  And it got its deserved praise from any headfiers here.  It has analogue-like solid sound with sweet smooth texture and excellent resolution.  I have many hours comparing it with PSA DLIII and DA100 stand on its own place very well.  As my Stello HP100, it provides great impact to the music.  It takes USB, Coax, or optical input and can do by-pass or 192 up-sampling.

The new one costs $695.  I got it used for about 6 months and would like to ask for $400 with shipping from US and Paypal fee.  I will ship it well packaged (not original box) according to your destination.  Only the DAC will be shipped.  It is 110V.

I also have a matching Stello HP100 for sale here.

I still remember the excitement when I got DA100.  The darker background, solid piano note embodiment, and vivid sonic focus were the immediate step-ups for me at that time.  It has a long contest with my PSA DLIII and I have hard time to tell which one wins.  The impact and engagement of DA100 wins over DLIII in those aspects.

The discussion on the well established reputation of DA100's SQ may be found here:

Shipping to international destination is OK but the shipping cost will not be cheap (about $50 or so) due to the weight of DA100.  It is compact but very solidly made with juicy power supply, which is the price need to pay for good SQ.

Additional info about this DA100 is added in the original post.  All PM replied.  Thanks!

i am interested and dont mind shipping cost but i'm on UK voltages..

i read from their website: http://www.aprilmusic.com/main/sub02_02_02.html#01

it says "100~117VAC, 220~240VAC.(Switch Selectable)"

read the manual but it didnt say anything about a switch.. did u happen to see a voltage switch select on the unit?

Roasty:

The unit is in my office and I cannot check it at this moment.  I'll try to check it ASAP.

Also, one Headfier has already made partial payment on it.  So I will let you know if it ever becomes available.

Thanks for the interest!!

Yup. Stello's have a switch inside where you can choose between 110V and 220V. You have to open them to switch it.
