So, who is going to pull the trigger first? :)

the question is: who wants to listen to OPA2134 for $299?

No pics of the interior? Bleh.

project86 mentioned in his Yulong D100 review thread that he's planning to get and review the CUBE too.

I'm so tempted... and I'm now hesitating between this and the Mini-i.

On one hand the Mini-I has balanced and unbalanced outs, on the other hand the Cube, while having unbalanced outs only, does ASRC... I'd love to know which one has the overall best SQ. Especially as a DAC-only.

Coolfungadget, any word about it?

So... what about that cube? Soundwise, how does it compare with the mini-I? I'm really hesitating, thanks!

That it's the crappiest opamp ever? If you were to swap it for a high grade part like AD797B/LT1028AC/LT1363/OPA827, you wouldn't believe what you've been missing: http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f6/audio-gd-discrete-op-amps-reviewed-OPA-earth-OPA-moon-OPA-sun-v-2-a-397691/

Even the 4580/5532 sound better than 2134..There's 4 grades most likely coming from the same waffer for OPA2132/2134...quality wise it goes 32P > 32PA > 34P > 34PA. OPA2132P is a good sounding chip for the price but 2134 is worthless..even OPA2604 is better.

Thanks, I didn't know that leeperry.

I wonder if the CUBE has socketed chips...

Why wonder? The pictures of the insides are here and I don't see any opamp swapping possibility without soldering

Very intelligent of me to miss the blatant photo. D'oh!

Thank you.
