Which amp for IE8 - ibasso D4 or D10?

To go with 160 iPod classic playing lossless... Has anybody had either one of these set ups (or.both) and care to comment.

RSA Tomahawks sell for approx. $180-$200 on the For Sale forums.

I had both the D10 and D4 with the IE8. In fact, of all the amps I tried with the IE8 the OP amp modded D10 was probably the best. I couldn't hear much of a difference if any with the D4. I however, must say that I am still not convinced that these portable amps make that much of a difference as I had expected. I have since then sold both.

Ok so you have got my interest.

Toucan and what are the other two items? iBasso D10?

Also I thought the Toucan was for balanced headphones only not SE?

More info would be nice.. good or bad

The Toucan has both Single ended and Balanced inputs and ouputs.

I only use my SE, amps my laptop music very nicely ,its a pretty powerful little amp.

iBasso PB1 Toucan's songs and musical instruments layered sense of space is very good. Than D10, D4 even more than P3 +.
