Ultrasone DJ1 & DJ1 Pro Differences?

Due to my ever-indecisiveness, I am still doing research to decide on a pair of headphones. After seriously looking at the Ultrasone HFI-580, I ran across the DJ1 and DJ1 Pro. I really like that the DJ1 Pro comes with detachable cables, so thats what I'm currently leaning toward. I am gentle with my headphones, but cables do wear and I want these to last a long time. However, I've done some searches here and I'm still slightly confused as to the differences between the Pro and regular versions. Is what I have so far correct?

DJ1:

  • similar to HFI-580
  • 32 ohm
  • S-Logic Plus

DJ1 Pro:

  • similar to Pro 550
  • 64 ohm
  • S-logic

Not that it probly makes a difference, but the Pro doesn't have S-Logic Plus? Also, is the impedance difference enough to make them noticeably harder to drive? I wouldn't think that headphones designed for on-the-go DJs would require an amp, but then again I'm not a DJ. I'm just looking for a great pair of headphones to match with my sound card and was drawn to the features of the Pro. Input appreciated, as always.

For me the Pro/PL series have a bigger sound stage and sound a bit more balanced. On the other hand the HFI series are more club like with full body/bass. Any Ultrasone model come with  his own sound characteristic and you'll need to check them out.

Thanks. Mainly I was just wanting to know if what I had listed were the only differences between the DJ1 and DJ1 Pro, and how different the S-Logic Pro is from regular S-Logic or if its just marketing.

Well...thanks for the help and stuff I guess.

I think I'm finally ready to purchase the DJ1 Pros, despite the fact that I've seen more attractive cans in my lifetime. Hopefully they have more bass quality/quantity than my MDR-7506.
