Using headphone amp without DAC?

Possible?

I was thinking of getting Darkvoice amp and plug it to my soundcard (Bravura) without an DAC in the middle.

Where I could even connect it? Headphone output is already amped so if I would connect that to an another amp it wouldnt propably sound that great.

With DAC I could connect it to Digital Out -> DAC -> Headphone AMP, right?

That is correct.

Your sound card has no line out from what I see so you have no other option. Unless you want to use the headphone jack as your line out which is not the best approach as it's a variable line out versus a fixed line out......

The front L/R is the line out....

I was under the assumption that he would be using the L/R for speakers.....

He can use the darkvoice amp as a preamp to his speakers. The only thing is that poor signal is going through three seperate preamps before it actually gets to the amplifier. It's probably not the best thing for sound quality. Seriously nothing beats a dac/headphone amp/preamp combo unit. It's so useful...

Use the headphone out jack of the computer.  Use a stereo 3.5mm to stereo rca to hook the amp up. Max out the volume of the program/computer to max/100% . Then you use the amp volume as normal. I am actually doing this right now with my laptop hooked into a BA untill my dac arrives next week. Its not optimal but it sounds decent.
