Small pc speakers need burning in?

Just got the tiny little Altec Lansing "inmotion" ipod speakers. They sound real good for the micro size they are, but I was wondering if I should break them in like with headphones. Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this... I've used the headphone and amp forums... but never here. Thanks...

Typically they are economical speakers that are not built with performance in mind. Dont worry about break in - just use them...the sound may improve with time as the driver's suspension loosens up but you wont see any HUGE improvement.

Thanks for the quick reply... I'll take your advice and just use them. I think the portability of these little things will make up for the less than dynamic sound quality. They fold up and fit perfectly into my laptop bag, no cords to mess with. Just want the speakers for trips in the summer to my inlaws cabin where I can listen to anything on my ipod with ease. No regrets on buying them despite rather high cost. Thanks again....
