~SOLD~ UE Triple.Fi 10 vi -- just a few minutes away from New in the Box ~SOLD~

I bought these planning on having customs made.  They were tried on ONCE for a few minutes -- they're far too big for my ears (I suspected that that going in -- I have small ears, even for a girl), and they've been patiently waiting in their old-school box (I love the box, much cooler than the newer style IMO) for me to get around to having the customs made.  But, it's not happening any time soon and I can better use the cash to feed my other electronics habits.  I was going to give them to a dear friend -- but I've watched him destroy too many pairs of phones by letting them dangle from the cord trailing behind him to be stepped on and to bump along concrete surfaces (he's equally good at destroying cameras and phones). I can't let that happen to these.  I know someone here will love them enough to give them a warm, safe home.

I'd like $160 -- tracked UPS shipping in the USA is $10, Priority mail is $8 (with delivery confirmation).  I will ship out of the USA, but you must pay for the actual cost of tracked shipping (i.e. FedEx or DSL).  They will be shipped from Miami, Florida.

I am having trouble getting a photo uploaded -- I keep getting a "try later" error.. so here are the links to the pics:

the uber cool box:

They come with everything that was including in the box -- extra tips, the extension cable, etc. :

Payment via paypal or amazon gift card -- unless you're close enough by to do a cash transaction.

Enjoy!

:-)

p.s. I suspect these were made before Logitech bought the company -- there is no mention of Logitech anywhere.

Sorry, I won't consider a sale to someone who's been registered here for a very short time and who has under 20 posts -- especially when those posts are all responding to buy every item that's for sale today.  Prudence is the better path.  I'm sure you understand.

Your loss and that's your ignorance if I'm paying with paypal and am also verified

No offense, but if they are paying, who cares? You only send the product once they pay. Concern should only be shown when they are selling you the product. There was an old rule on Head-Fi that you had to have 50 posts to sell an item.

Why?  Let me tell you about risks to sellers:

1) The buyer has hijacked an account -- you end up getting the money paid to you reversed -- you're out the item you're selling and out of the money.

2) The buyer funds their payment via paypal with a credit card, they make a false claim to their credit card company, the CC company does a chargeback (which can happen weeks and weeks later) -- and again -- you're out the money and the item.

3) The buyer tries to talk you into some other form of payment -- like a cashier's check -- from there it goes all downhill into a myriad of scam-abilities.

I have more than 50 posts -- so I see no issue with trying to sell an item to an audience that's geared to appreciate them.  I can flip them to my friend in a minute (he'll pay as much for the next set of mediocre Shures that he'll trash).  I prefer to see them go to someone who really wants them.

If someone is brand new here -- has an account that's 24 hours old -- no posts other than offers to buy items -- then yes, I am going to wonder.  And anyone reasonable person would also wonder what was up.  After all,  It's simple enough to come in and introduce yourself either on the board or via PM -- offer up some background as to why you're here and trying to buy off the board with such a new account.  i.e.

"Hi my name is BillyBob JoeBlow, I just found these forums while I was researching the best phones to use for customs.  I'm planning on having inearz do mine and I'd love to use the Triple.Fis.   I currently reside ______ so it doesn't seem like there would be any issue with shipping.  Please PM me and perhaps we can work something out.  Oh, and I have a number of successful transactions on other sites, so I'd be happy to provide you more info when you PM."

See?  Easy.

I was in no way implying you were not allowed to sell your Triple.Fis. Anyways, that sort of stuff has never happened to me. I guess I never thought of all that stuff. I guess it is a valid concern.

Good luck with the sale.

Not to mention the dude is offering for more than she asked for. lol

That dude was me and yes thought it'd be fair since i live on the most western island in Hawaii so i figured it'd be the right thing to do for the extra shipping there would have been, but this person wants a friend more than a buyer lol.

Would you ship to New Zealand via USPS Priority? Cheers

I will ship via USPS priority -- however, there is no tracking unless the shipment is made with the medium or large box -- the price might be more than you'd like to pay for tracking.  :-(  If you assume the risk of arrival (I will ship with a certificate of mailing that I will provide ), then I am more than happy to ship USPS Global Priority in the smaller box (I'll pack it well).  I realize that it's difficult and expensive for people to get items shipped outside of the USA -- so I'm willing to work with someone to make it happen for them.

I guess  these will be mine soon :D Waiting for your final confirmation .Sent you a nice long PM !

Hey, I'm interested! Is it still available?

Please send me a message if it is, because sometimes it's hard to track all these good deals! :p

It looks like Faheem will be the lucky new owner -- we found a way to get them the 9000 miles to him that wasn't outrageous in cost.    If something falls through (I don't think it will), I will let you know. :-)
