Hello,

A while back I bought the RP-21s. However I was unsatisfied with the cable, I clip modded them, however the clip got destroyed in the process (mine was very tightly glued in there). Recently I haven't been able to get a nice cable for them, and I'm fearing exhausting the jack on them, which would essentially force me to recable or rejack them.

Here is the scope of what I'm trying to do. I need a flexible cable (similar to the flexibility of the stock cable or the ATH-AD700) with one end just a normal male 1/8th phono jack, the other end will go into the headphones, I want that jack to be a 1/8th male "screw-in" phono jack, look at the pic for clarification, essentially I will take something like the 1/8th to 1/4th converter in the pic and chop off the top and glue it in instead of the clip that was in there. I feel that this improves my cabling choices instead of the proprietary connector. Can anyone recommend me jacks and a cable that I could use, I'd like to keep this under ~25$ and still have spare parts. Thanks!
