I'll wait for the Limited Edition.

have fun waiting another 20/30 years

All older Stax phones respond well to power and a clean signal path (DC coupled which all of the Stax amps are) and I don't see that changing with this model.

FUJIYA ONLINE SHOP:

(Sorry, this site is in Japanese only. And we don't accept the order from outside Japan. We don't deliver our goods abroad, either...)

612€ is a very good price, compared to the 915€ that the distributor here's asking.

Oh well..what can you do?

Thanks anyway.

if you want to order, maybe you can write to Price Japan, they also have Stax and will ship oversea,

Hadn't seen the Fujiya tore before.  Looks to be near Shinjuku.  I'll be in Japan next month, but I still don't see myself picking these up until the dollar gets better.

I'll probably skip these and save up for a Omega2, looking forward to reviews though.

Fujiya Avic is not at Shinjuku. You need to go JR Nakano Station.
Take the north exit and go across the crosswalk into the shopping street then all the way down until into the entrance of a building with "Broadway."

If you want to get it in Shinjuku, you can try Audio Union.

Said "near" not "in"!  2-3 stations away from Shinjuku is practically Shinjuku to me.  I think I will definitely check it out when I'm there next month.  And I've been to Audio Union/Disk Union.  When my wife and I were in Tokyo for vacation this past April, she did a lot of damage at the classical Disk Union shop.  Incredible selection there.  Then I picked up a SR-003 and SRM-252 at the Audio Union in Ochanomizu.

Next month I think I'll head out to Inokashira Park in the morning and hit Fujiya on the way back, to be concluded with a trip to Disk/Audio Union and some gelato at Grom (haven't had Grom in Tokyo, just Italy and it's great there).

BTW, if anyone in Texas is interested (I'm in Houston, in-laws in Austin, parents in Dallas, so I get around) in the SR-507, I could possibly bring back a pair.

Audiocubes 2 has it posted now for $1000.... yikes.

I pre-orded mine from Woo Audio and had to put down a $600 deposit and was told the domestic price is still uncertain, but to expect it in the $800 range.

You can grap some used interconnect cables from Audio Union too.

Maybe you can update us the price in Audio Union. My friend will be going Nov, I will certainly grap a piece if most impressions are positive from Stax's fan.
