Counterfeit Cardas you make the call !!!

maybe its cause i bought some fake ie8,, but it really pisses me off when i see fake products,  let me know what you think  thanks

I used to own a few Cardas ICs. Love 'em. Back then he only used Rhodium coated connectors with black heat shrink.

Well it's hard to tell from those pics but they all have the Cardas heatshrink. However you notice that in the first and third one, the heat shrink is on the wrong way compared to the second one. Also, you notice that the first and third are from Hong Kong (which already is a not a good sign).

 

I would guess that the first is fake ( the heat shrink and cable colours are slightly different from the other two, there also appears to be another clear heatshrink under the grey heatshink which is definitely not in the genuine item). The third might be fake and the second one is real. But this is just a guess!

Cheap way to get some bragging rights,it will sound the same anyway so I do not see a problem.

Go to Cardas website - will tell you how to identify fakes.  But yeah, fake.

Yeah, most likely fakes. I would contact Cardas to verify they are fake or not.

Hard to say about the two first ones, but the third one if definitely fake!
