A5 Right speaker louder than Left

Hi everybody. According to the audioengine site http://audioengineusa.com/Store/Audioengine-5#faq

They say  "This is a common property of speakers using dual-analog style amplifiers.  A quick fix for this is to increase the volume on your speakers and decrease the volume on your source." But here they are talking about the Left being louder than the right. In my case its the opposite.

Should i get mine replaced? At low volumes when i check the balancing of both speakers, i find the right one to be definitely louder than the left irrespective of the source. I cant hear anything from the left at this point and pretty much everything from the right.

There have been similar instances with other people who have reported this issue on other forums, so i thought i should first make sure.

Two possible causes (at least) a volume control that is not perfectly channel matched at low settings, this is very common even on some quite expensive amplifiers such as the Graham Slee Solo I used to own, or the individual amps (your speakers have two amps) are not properly matched.

If the replacement pair is stll on their way try them , if both pairs are the same send them both back and ask for a refund, sorry.

yeah, but with Audioengines excellent(from what i heard) customer service, and generous warranty period, i would replace it for even the slightest problems.
