AMP/DAC for Sennheiser HD650

I know there's a lot of threads out there on this subject.  But reading over them - I'm way out of my depth. Often people just reel off product names and I've no clue what's going on.

I live in the UK - Finding suppliers of amps is proving to be difficult. If you can recommend choices that are UK based, it would be very helpful.

Source: Macbook Pro/iPhone for portable, Old Aiwa Hi-Fi my father built. Was pretty high end back in the day, with a massive tube amplifier.

What I'm looking for is either just an AMP, or AMP/DAC combo for use with the portable sources. I understand I won't get stellar sound out of either, but rather I'm looking for an improvement. Doesn't have to be tiny, or even battery powered. But something with a small enough profile to fit in my bag to take to work etc. Something with similar size to a iBasso D10.

My budget is a laughable £150.

Anyone up for a challenge?

The only option I can really see is the Ibasso D2. Any thoughts on this amp with the 650's?

In that price range, your best bet is probably a uDAC and a cmoy.  Other portable amps might have a little better fidelity into smaller loads, but not into something like the HD650s.  I can't think of any other combo in that price range that runs from as much voltage as a cmoy.

Thinking about a hold out, to get the Schiit Valhalla when it starts to ship.

uDAC-1 + mini^3 ? Can be done for £150 if you DIY the mini^3 or get it used.

Audio-GD Sparrow basic version A. Should come to about $200 shipped.

Its got more than enough power to drive the Senns and the DAC is pretty decent to boot. :)
