I visited our two Local, Charlotte that is, used CD shops yesterday, Manifest & Lunch Box, and bought 7 CDs. One is Karrin Allyson's Ballads, Remembering John Coltrane. It's on the Concord Jazz label consequently the engineering and recording quality are way better than most. She has a great voice and her backup Quartet is outstanding. Can anyone who's familiar with Karrin recommend More of her music?
