DIY Help Needed

So this is more like the DI For Me type of help . Please haha. One of speakers in my OK2 went out awhile ago and my warranty ran out this January. I ended up buying a few gold connectors from radio shack, a solder kit, and I decided to fix it myself. After practicing on a pair of sansa buds and failing a few times, I decided to do my Yuins. Surprisingly, the fix worked pretty well. I couldn't screw the connector on all the way but I didn't care as long as it worked.

Anyways, this lasted for a few months and I eventually tried to fix them again. I don't know what happened this time but I ended up losing a lot more wire than I bargained for before I got it to work.... to find out the left and right terminals were switched

I lived with it, and they ended up going out a LOT faster than my previous work. I wanted to hand it over to someone with a little more experience as I no longer trust myself, preferably while I still have wire left . Is it possible to lengthen the cable? If not that's fine with me. I'm the one that messed it up. I just want it fixed, and if possible re-cabled for added durability. I live in the US and was hoping to settle it over Paypal. If anyone is interested and want a little more information, just shoot me a pm. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks,

James.
