If you are open to DIY, this Dynalo is the same design:

Thanks for the link MrSlim, looks great. But I have after researching for another three hours, I think the Rockhopper M3 would suit the ATH-W5000's the most.

Cheers,

Finally made up my mind, cannot afford the HA5000 sadly, so M^3 seems the best option now for the W5000's. Anybody? Cheers,

After some PM's and recommendations, I think I will settle for the HA5000's. It's long shot that someone will sell me these, but why not try, maybe someone wants to give it a new home? Cheers,

Hello everyone, I know this is not the place to post this, but I need a quick reply, a seller I have found in my area has the HA5000's, though the price is really good, almost too much so. Is it possible to sell a counterfeit HA5000? I somehow doubt it, but just to be safe. Any response would be great, since I will buy these right away... Maybe asking him to open the amp up? thx

I've never come across counterfeited AT amp. But in the real life if something is too good to be true - normally it is too good to be true. It's like all BMWs and Mercedeses have very low mileage cause were driven by old German Couple only to the Church Sunday Mass and ALDI for shoping. I would say: 1,044.81 EUR Bulletin store 1,282.83 EUR eBay 866.242 EUR Price Japan No shipment and taxes added. Last time I've seen one on this forum I think it was around 800-850 EUR with shipment within Europe in mint condition.

Be aware that AT amp is normally getting quite warm during operation if somebody had it on the bottom of tha stack without ventilation caps might need replacement.

That's good to hear. I also doubted that the HA5000 would be counterfeited but you never know these days. I have the luxury of driving to him over the weekend to see what condition and how it sounds. I might even ask him to open the amp up, to see if all the insides were not tampered with. I will also ask him about how the amp was kept, if the ventilation was adequate. If so I will make the purchase on the weekend, and hopefully enjoy this combo, since I have heard amazing praises for it. I really do hope some old audiophile only turned it on the weekends, polished the wood every day and sprinkled Holy water every sunday afternoon!  lol, but seriously I hope the amp is in good condition, if so what an excellent find. Cheers,
