Any deals on a pair of V-Moda M-100s? I've seen them on Amazon (used) for about 250$, just wondering if they go any lowering than that.

will Sennheiser HD 650/ HE-400 drop lower? Now I see both are $400....Actually, I am not familiar with the price of headphone..Thank you guys for your help.

The 650's probably will. I got mine for $325 a few months ago, after I sold the gift card and paid the tax. The 400's are too small of a market and too specialized for discounts on new pairs to be common. Both retailers enforce MAAP, but it's a little easier for Hifiman since they only have so many retailers.

HE-400? Probably not unless you can find a % off or $ off coupon for a particular retailer. It's price pretty much is what it is. The price of the HD-650 fluctuates frequently though, so keep your eyes peeled for a deal.

Got my refurb HD700 from Crutchfield yesterday.....the left driver made a clicking sound when bass notes hit. Called up Crutchfield and they're sending me a brand new one. I was amazed at their service. Especially when these are refurbs. Color me impressed.

Crutchfield's CS is the best in the business. That's why they charge MSRP for everything. biggrin.gif

If you don't mind "slightly used or used" products, I would keep an eye out on the FS forums here. There are plenty of people on here selling both of those cans. They are very popular so you will see them up there quite often. I looked on there earlier today, and saw some HD650 for 360, which is decent. I sold a pair for 320 a few weeks back. And I constantly see the HE-400 up for around 350ish.

Thank you for your information, greed. I do not mind used products if they are fully workable. What is the FS forum?

Also, it turns out Harman is having auctioning off a bunch of refurbished AKG products on their eBay page.

Could possibly snag a pretty good deal.

It's Head-Fi's For Sale forum. Start at the top-level page for all forums, and then scroll down "a ways." (Good luck and don't let your wallet get away from you.)
