I believe they are that price for anyone, not just existing customers.

sr 60i for @40.99.  I dont think they are authorized dealers but i ordered from them before with no problems.  Order at your own risk but it is a great price!

Correct.  MrSpeakers (Dan) did indicate this in the Mad Dogs thread.  Apparently, his production and business is moving along well enough that he can offer them to everyone - not just current / existing Mad Dog headphone owners.

I grabbed one. I had it before but they were part of the first batch. They had the worst "seal" problems as well as a rather thin headband. I've noticed that AKG has made the pads more plush in more recent pictures. I'll give them another shot, since I really did like their sound.

Bought one around 3am est. Paid about $161 w sales tax.
