Ignore the prices before Senn invoked its MAP early last year.  As long as the MAP remains in place, you are not likely see see prices that low in the U.S.  Used "like new" currently at Amazon for $169 (the price I got mine new in the late summer of 2011) is now a very low price.

Hi.  I am a new member here and just want to share a great deal.  At vminnovations.com, they have the refurbished Sennheiser Amperiors in blue and silver for $167.99.  They are authorized Sennheiser Dealer.  If you use promo code "FACEBOOK" you will received another 5% off.  My total price shipped was $159.59.  I received them yesterday and they look brand new.  They also list them on ebay for $175.99 if you want to go that route.

Bob439 said he ordered a pair of senn HD 428's from them just a page or two back.  If they are an authorized Sennheiser dealer you shouldn't have any trouble.  They also rate pretty well on reseller ratings (my usual check for legitimacy):

Yes IMHO, I had a good experience overall. I was skeptical sharing payment info, but everything is fine so far.
