The AKG K 240 Studio appear to be at an all time Amazon (Prime) low of $60.75.

The BRAINWAVZ HM5 Studio Monitor Headphones are down to $99.50 from Amazon (Prime).

There's also a VMESAVES40 at buydig when using v.me. $40 of 400.

I'm looking at the ATH-W1000X which are already low at $420 although this post is a little worrying.

Not sure it changed the audio quality (good or bad), but I like the comfort.

But what do you think about the headphones themselves??

They can't live up to the insane hype...

Can they?? :)

I'd say that they are very good for the money, an excellent value for a set of headphones under $100. Can't do wrong.

But yeah, there's some hype that goes beyond that.

Guitar Center is running a $20 off a $99 or more purchase until 12/31. It works both online and in store. I got a pair of Shure SE-215s for $79. They also had DT-770s, M-50s, a few AKGS models, and the KRS line of full sized cans in the local store. The other awesome thing is that they will price match anyone, including JR Music and BH Photo, plus apply the discount.
