The one thing you have to watch out with Accessory Jack is that they sell grey market items. In other words the warranty on the products is effective only in Hong Kong as per FAQ

Oh wow they must've price dropped, it was $50 before.  I bought them but I felt the mids were slightly more forward than I had liked.  They do sound much better amped, and they look pretty cool.

I guess they went back up already. Must have only been for a few hours.

Buydig has an ultrasone hfi 680 for 99 dollars open box.

Personally Buydig has pretty much lost me as a customer for life after the stunt they pulled with the AD-900. Especially since they still have my $90 after cancelling my order. I have never even heard of that especially with a paypal payment. Sucks too because I have been a customer of theirs since the late 90s when they were still small. Things change when companies grow. Not always for the better.

$182.61 for some used Black AKG Q701 on Amazon Warehouse Deals. Lowest I've seen online in a quick bit.

I've been curious about these for a while now. I opened up one of the pairs I bought and tried them out. Typical Koss sound - smooth and thick in the mid-bass. Bloomier and darker than the UR55 (not in a good way). We'll see if they tighten up with break in. They come packaged very nicely with a hard case and free Duets II download certificate. I wouldn't pay retail for them - heck, I wouldn't pay $60 for them, but they are definitely a nice package for under $40.

 

I'll give the other pair away as a Christmas present.
