I am also looking for a nice cheap pair of D2ks. I love mine so much and I wanted to buy one for my father as a gift, but its discontinued so it's either $300+ or used.

Well, I don't really mind used cans my first ath-m50's were used. Got them for 110$ in mint condition. At the time it was a great deal! But i've been looking high and low for the d2000's but to no avail(that could ship to canada)... While i'm down for an excellent set of headphones spending 300+ is not an easy choice because they will mostly stay at home all the time. I'm also down my cmoy since I sent it for repairs. Oh well ill just keep lurking this thread.
