For what it's worth, there aren't high priced to begin with, but a bit of savings here and there and great sound quality to boot with lifetime warranty sounds appealing. I might get another down the road, it certainly won't break the bank. These make for good informal usage inside and recreational. anyway hope to get your feedback and comparisons. I should be receiving my Monday.

I really dig the old school look of the PortaPro's...$29 bucks is tempting, I just can't see getting much use out of them except for maybe the gym?

Unfortunately they can't ship the $29 PortaPro offering to my home address.

Oh well, at least that saved me the trouble of an impulse buy.

Thats because yours was sold by Amazon Warehouse Deals; there are actually a ton of other companies that are okay with you buying "open box" from AWD. Third party sellers, on the other hand, BD isnt as easy-going with them.
