And $10 to ship it, I can get a local one for $5.99 at Princess Auto (Harbour Freight type place)

Actually, the shipping is free to the US from the US site......of course, if I could get one locally at a Princess Auto (we don't have them) I'd probably rather do that than fool with the rebate.

Update on the IE80s from Amazon Germany. Just got them and they are definitely legit. What a steal. Now to open the box and listen for a while etysmile.gif

Wow, that's a real deal right there! Why'd you sell them? I'm thinking of getting them myself, but there's little info out there on them. Maybe I should hold out since I'm in no rush, and Black Friday is around the corner...

I believe Amazon had them for like $179? around the same time I sold mine. I had them listed @ around $155 for like 2-3 weeks and not much interest here in the community. I guy made me an offer for $135 so I took it.

These are VERY well built, but the sound was a bit to bassy for me.

Thanks. I didn't see that earlier. Comes out to $192 after tax for me. The box is probably just messed up while everything else is in great shape. I think I'll pass though. I'm not sure about warranty coverage if it's from either Warehouse Deals or a 3rd party fulfilled by Amazon. I'll have to ask Ultrasone some other time.

I think I would like some bass as long as it's not overwhelming.

Guys, just a reminder to stay on topic. Thanks.
