Hey people.

I have searched and searched and searched, but I cannot find anyone that has commented on how the Cowon D2+ > RSA Tomahawk > Shure SE530 combo sounds like!

What settings do you use for this combo if you own it?

Cheers

Do you expect a great deal of people to own all 3 variables in your equation?

I guess you'll find out how it sounds soon enough.

^ Well said.

What I find strange is you seemed to have bought a fairly expensive rig without any what the three individual components sound like together.

In the world of portable audio synergy is key to a good sounding rig. You'll probably be happy but it's not the kind of thing I'd ever recommend for anyone to do.

Hmm I've tried the Cowon D2+ and I currently have the SE530s, but as I'm in New Zealand, any RSA amp is extremely hard to find.

Oh now that makes a lot more sense. You've added one extra component to the set up, not bought the set up as is outright.

I know what its like not having to have a chance to listen to any decent gear before you buy it. I live in a small country town, so it's an 8 hour drive to a city if I wanto audition anything of value.
