ASL MG Head OTL (single chassis) SOLD

This was my first real headphone amp. It's the original single chassis OTL which has jacks for OTL>Transformer output and a switch for feedback>no feedback.

It does have a scratch on the bottom of the transformer housing on the back, a few nicks on the top edge of the faceplate and some tiny surface scratches on the top where the tube cage attaches.

I'd be willing to part with this amp for $125. This amp is real nice with Senn HD600's and if I still had mine, I wouldn't be selling it. With that match you get a vintage tube sound that's pretty hard to beat for the audio equivalent of "comfort food" IMHO.

I accept paypal in conus and whatever the UPS online shipping calculator comes up with is what I'll charge for shipping.

How old are the tubes, how much run time do they have?  I have not worked with tubes in a lot of years when I was in the Navy, but I seem to remember they do wear out.  Interesting that tubes are still around, but very expensive.

I forgot to include in the original posting that I'll include two pairs of  EL84's. The stock Sovteks and a pair of Ei's. For the input/driver the stock Sovtek and an extra RCA 5751 black plate in the deal.

The stock tubes have maybe 100 hours on them. The set I like is the above mentioned RCA with a pair of Ei El84's. There's probably close to 500 hours on the Ei and under 100 hours on the RCA.
