the rules are sketchy for commissioning a build here and the rules are arbitrarily applied.  AMB has a list of builders on the site.  if you don't want to go with one of these builders, i would recommend posting a request over at a couple of other HP related sites.

The listed builders do incredible work but are only interested in 3 and 4 channel, two chassis builds.  Frankly their work quality isn't DIY, it really is professional... with prices to match ;)

I thought it was pretty straight forward. You're allowed to commission a build but the builder cannot solicit customers.
