FS: modded sr80i *CLOSED*

Up for sale is a pair of sr80i's. I have extensively modded these guys...

The mods are:

1.) I dampened the interior of the shell with dampening foam. It helps mostly with the highs and gives a little more to the bass.

2.) I replaced the plastic grills with a brass ones. Not really much of a difference here to be honest.

3.) The silk on the front has been removed which adds to the clarity

4.) I did Bilavideo's hole punch mod to increase the bass

The cable was cut about 5 inches shorter for a repair. The left phones letters had scratches and warps. I sanded them down on one side to make them look better. However the other side doesn't have the letters sanded down because they look fine. I find it helps to figure out which side is which in the dark. The original box is included.

Included are modded hd414 pads and original pads with a hole in the middle. Better SQ in both cases, although the yellow pads are a big improvement over stock IMO.

The phones are *I'll just keep them* shipped CONUS only.

Pics below.

Happy buying

EDIT: willing to trade for a dac. particularly the y1
