Are you saying the TFi10's are top-tier then if you don't consider MTPC or IE8 top?

I can see why full sized high ohmed cans would need an amp. Why would the coppers need one? I ask because I use them with my ipod and they are able to reach a pretty high volume level. So what am I missing exactly?

ahh so they do but £370 erm no.

Yeh they do seem rather over priced to me but thought i would point them out anyway

I found them to be overpriced even at the price here. Of course I didn't have to pay for anything outside of shipping when I tried them but a price of £370 is way beyond overpriced.

Lol @ rawrster , we often have to pay though the nose for things over here

it would be better if you bought it from the us and payed shipping I believe.

not so much if HMRC (Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs) spot it when it arrives.  tbh im sure ill live without hearing them particularly so after some time with the coppers.

Now I do realize most things outside of the US have to be bought at a premium outside of things like the FX700 and other companies that refuse to sell their products outside of Japan or whatever country they are originated in. However that price for the MD's is just ridiculous. I might as well send them a blank check and write down the amount I have in my bank account as well at those prices. I don't really understand why there needs to be such large markeups.

its called price gouging

tbh all it does to me is make spend my money else where

Outrageous prices only separate you from potential customers, especially if there are cheaper sources.
