BOSE 141 Series II brand new ----$50 USD---

Certainly, BOSE equipment is not bad, but very expensive, so the value-price ratio isn't well balanced. But what about a couple of brand new bookshelf speakers BOSE 141 Series II for $50 bucks.
There is a Sam's club near home, and the speakers stayed untouched at the shelf for near 8 months, so finally decided to drop the price to $50 dlls. (Regular price was $150 dlls.)

 

So are now a good deal for the price?!?
Would you buy them at this price?!?

I'm waiting for a Maverick A1 Amp, and I bought this speakers basically to have something to play with until I get better ones.
I've never heard to any speakers like these so, are they any good?!?

Someone would have to pay me $50 to listen to music through BOSE speakers. My advice, instead of buying some discount special junk, save the $50 and put it towards something decent. If you look on the used market you can make $200 or $300 go very far in terms of performance/dollar.

Um I guess not bad for 50$ if you have friends who go "ooh Bose", in which case sell it to them for 100 bucks and walk away with 50$ profit :P

Definitely that's what I'm going to do, I'll use them until I get better ones, and then sell them with a profit!

I do still think that for $50 they can't be so bad!

I've got a set of stereo Bose powered speakers I've had since the early 90's.  They served as my gateway into all this audiophile stuff.  They really aren't bad sounding at all.  So if you've got an opportunity to get into some decent speakers for only $50, I say go for it.
