Amp and Apple remote conflict?

Hello guys this is my very 1st post on Head-Fi forum and I have a favor to ask. I am currently using a iBasso D10 amp along with my iPod Classic 6th Gen, now I'm thinking about getting an Apple remote control because it is always kind of inconvenient to reach into my backpack to skip a song, and obviously the size of the amp is too big to fit in my jeans pocket. But the problem is that if I can still use the Apple remote to control my ipod since the dock has already been taken over by the amp? Thank you for your answers!!

If you are using a Line Out connection to the Amp, then you will not be able to use the remote.

i did think that .i have wireless ijet two way for my ipod touch 3g or ipod diy

yes it works but unfortunately line out is not TRUE lineout.

a diy mod to this kind of ipod remotes would be great especially for those who have portable system. i didnt try other remotes though
