Just use the asus solution :

AiCharger_V10006_XpVistaWin7 

 

It's a free firmware wich give you the possibility to charge your ipad.

works for iphone too and charge is faster.

wow I will try this when I get mine. I also got an X10 xperia mini pro phone and with it a 10W usb charger. I think it has the same specs as the ipad charger. Will try it when i get the pad. Thanks
