Help getting best sound for reasonable cost

I am looking for an amp to use with my Sennheiser HD580 and have been baffled by some of the choices. I have seen two main contenders, the Little Dot MKIII and the new Shiit Asgard. I know the differences in these two amps must be significant seeing as one is solid state and the other is a tube. Does anyone have any suggestions on which of these is best or another amp that can be purchased for a similar price that is $250 or around there?

Edit: Also looking around I see the Matrix M-Stage is another possible contender, just looking for suggestions from people with experience from one or more of these amps.
