FS: SOHA /w JISBOS discrete buffers tube amp-SOLD

SOHA with JISBOS discrete buffers build by head-fier FallenAngel.  Price is exactly what I paid for from a fellow head-fier at $OLD shipped CONUS via PayPal.  Seattle head-fiers can pick this up for $165.

I was asked a question about the impedance, and I forwarded the question to the amp builder.  Here's his response, "JISBOS is a solid-state buffer, output impedance is VERY low."

I bought this to power my HE-5 orthos and it did with authority.  It also sounded really nice with my D7000.   Comes with standard power cord,  Sennheiser headphone clamp holder, and the following two tubes:

  • GE JG-5963
  • RCA 12AU7A

It has the following details:

Vishay Dale resistors
Stepped attenuator
Copper RCA input
Mundorf MCap ZN coupling caps
Elna Silmic II caps
Panasonic FM/Nichicon PW in PSU

Now includes free Sennheiser headphone clamp in mint condition.  Cmon folks, it's not the prettiest tube amp, but the sound it produces is beautiful.   I believe I may be the fourth owner within the head-fi circle.  My asking price is a lot less than the total parts to build this amp as claimed by the amp builder himself, FallenAngel.
