Sennheiser HD-598s are the most comfortable headphones I've had the opportunity to use. I recommend these wholeheartedly for any first-time hi-fi buyer because of their excellent soundstage and...

I just received my SigPros (bought from a fellow head-fi'er), and now have several hours with them. They are great headphones. Agree with most of what everyone's saying about them. These...

Beats out the Bose Triport, the HD 202 and HD 435s, the AT M35 and AT M50. Just try it and see. Extremely comfortable (I wear mine while commuting and studying, for about 5+ hours a day). Bought...

I never thought it was possible for such rich sound from a headphone. Simply amazing headphones.

When I first put them on on I though that the highs will blow my head off. My ears got tired after 10 - 15 minutes. I though I would throw them out of the window. But having read some good...

Thanks! Ironically, the one that really could have used the airbrush the most was Vash the Stampede, and I didn't have an airbrush at the time. That red coat was a pain to hand paint. And assembling was a pain. He still has a bit from my old pin vise stuck in his thigh somewhere...thankfully covered by that crazy coat.
If want any advice on airbrushes, give me a holler. It was a while ago, but I did a lot of research before I bought mine. I have an Iwata compressor and Iwata Eclipse airbrush.

I have been looking at some airbrushes, The eclipse is one I looked hard at...the other was the T&C omni 4000...I want a dual action that will do some fine details. I was wondering what the price on the iwata brush and compressor was for you...

I used to love building / collecting car models when I was younger... Of course, all the ones I painted looked like someone had painted them awesomely, but then a cup of paint thinner had been spilled on them. I was young, don't judge my lack of artistic ability!

i built a few models but never really got into it much
too much effort for something made from very easy to break plastic
last model i built was a UH-1N that i put countless hours into to make it look like it's flown through hell a few times and barely made it back... it got knocked off a shelf and broke

I still have the email for the Smart Jet compressor...I paid $179 new for it. the Eclipse CS airbrush I have looks like it's around the same price range as when I bought mine...it may be 10 bucks or so more now, but it's not that much of a difference, if I remember right. It's been 8-10 years since I bought it. Got both off Dixie Art Supply, which came recommended from the web pages of some other folks.
The CS is a pretty good workhorse airbrush that can go to pretty fine detail and allows you to do pretty wide patterns too, but if you want REALLY fine detail, you'd want to pick up a specialized detail airbrush, like a Micron. Don't know anything about the omni 4000, so can't help ya there. I'll look it up if I have time later this afternoon.

Very nice. Again, seriously good work on the weathering/distressing. From the pics looks clean and effective, along with the panel lining. From memory of the films, the red portions seem a little bright, but that may be the pic more than the real paint color.

I remember building an f-15 fighter or something and maybe a p51 mustang as a kid. I also built various cars as well as some slot and rc cars. Haven't built anything in years though.

Looks awesome, vixr. I saw this ebay gallery posted elsewhere, and thought it was interesting enough to share here.

At those prices though, I stick to my little Corgi models. Though they aren't as nicely painted...
