This is an interest check on my favorite headphones that I've ever owned, my Audio Technica ES10. I really do not want to let it go, but due to personal circumstances, I can not afford to keep these any longer. The recabling was done by momomo6789. Sonically, I doubt it is different from a stock ES10, though it is possible that there is better bass decay and impact, and treble extension, but I don't have a stock ES10 to confirm it. However, the cable is substantially stronger and WILL take a lot of punishment without fear of breakage. The solder joints were done very well - I wrapped it around a wheelchair and pulled hard - the ES10 just shrugged it right off.
The cable is 5n occ stranded silver wire (26 awg), 120 cm long. Y split converges about 35 cm down (you get 32 cm of neck room because it comes down at an angle). No microphonics, and very flexible.
The headphones have a few minor scratches on the earcups that aren't visible without close inspection. The rest of the headphone is pristine. This is probably fully burned in, if you believe in that. I've personally used it for about 300 hours since my purchase in mid May. I always shower before putting on my headphones. My home is completely smoke and pet free.
Item is in Vancouver, Canada. I can offer a discount for a local pickup. I'm willing to ship worldwide, though I prefer to keep it within CON US or Canada. Shipping will be by Canada post with a trackable, insured service. Paypal only, please. Insurance and Paypal fees are on me. We can split shipping.
I can take more pictures of the headphone if there is any interest. The red bands along the cable serve no purpose other than aesthetics. If you dislike them, simply snip them off.
