Ahoy, fellow head-fiers,

Need some cash.

UPDATE: SRM-2050 is a pending sale,

Pics are in http://s288.photobucket.com/albums/ll163/svyr/Stax%20SRS-2050A/

You can confirm I'm the owner as per my feedback: http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f12/svyr-468134/

Condition/What do I get?

Close to mint physical condition, perfect working condition. I put about 50 hours on each one after buying them from graben. I've changed the fuse inside the unit after connecting a faulty power supply, but after that it works as well as it originally did.

The SRS-2050a comes with:

  • Extra AC adapter with Au plug.
  • Org box and adapter.

How much?

within Australia:

AU$425 + $45 shipping via express post (-10 for reg post)

Pick up in Melbourne is welcome.

international:

US$380 + shipping as per http://auspost.com.au/apps/international-parcel.html (weight ~3.5kg)

Come on people, buy the srm-252a - you know you want to - it's a bargain driver unit - you can drive SR-202, SR-404 or the older pro-bias Lambdas, and even make it into a portable rig by getting a 12v battery, since it's powered by 12v DC @ 300mA (yes, crazy open stax phones rig, but hey, if it's your thing, who am I to object). Or buy the set, as a great intro into Stax for a very reasonable price - with SR-202 being highly regarded among the Stax users here for their uncolored (?!) detailed sound.

p.s. the sister thread in FS: headphones has some buyers for the SR-202, so if you just want the driver unit, do contract me.

I am interested in this and also live in Melbourne.

Ok, $425 sounds more than fair. I live in Narre Warren (3805), but I can catch a train to anywhere from there to the the city and maybe beyond (using the Pakenham train line). My travel options are quite limited as I am only a uni student and don't have a car.

After 7pm might be a bit too late for tomorrow. Are there any other days with better times?

Sorry I didn't pm, it's not letting me do so.
