Is Apple players really the only ones who can eat AIFF?

 of course only apple support, AIFF is a format that created by apple, same like ALAC.

if your player support AIFF, then it means that you support ipod too.

 

 

try rockbox if you want for other DAP

I have a rockboxed clip+. I see no reason why other players shouldn't support AIFF or apple lossless. Is it because Apple won't allow it?

Plenty of players support WMA (Windows Media Audio) which is a windows only format. Just lame if it really is true that only Apple players support their own format.
