I'm selling my Millett Hybrid MiniMAX. I built it myself and have enjoyed it for the best part of the year while I pursued my Masters in New York. Am selling because I have too many amps back home...
I purchased a kit from beezar, with the following configuration:
Toshiba 2SC3422/2SA1359 output transistors
Nichicon Muse ES Cathode Bypass caps
Black Gate NX Output Coupling Caps + Vitamin Q bypass
Panasonic FM power caps
White LEDs
Will come with everything you see in one of the pictures I have attached, i.e.
- amp + power
- 5 pairs of tubes (3x12AE6, 1x12FK6, 1x12FM6, including the rather rare Sylvania 12AE6s, which are excellent and which I have used almost exclusively. (they also didn't come cheap!)
- a pair of tube rings
- DMM, Bourns trimpot adjuster (one side snapped but I glued it back together - in any case it won't be the side you need for this amp)
It works great and has no problems. The biggest problem I had was that an LED died, but I have replaced it.
It is substantially the same as the one whiplash audio sells for $449, except you get more free stuff included. However, because I am leaving the states soon I can neither accept returns nor provide a warranty. I will however answer any emails (though you're better off asking the folks at Beezar!).
