^ Yeah that or check their Facebook and Twitter pages. The last coupon I remember them releasing was a "school" one... or at least I think that's what it was.

Also for those wanting to track down some Sensorcom tips there is a guy in the FS section selling some packs. http://www.head-fi.org/forum/thread/513453/fs-earsonics-sm3-w-wo-sensorcom-tips

They are worth it. :)

quick update...

the durability on these are impressive (based on my initial wow these look cheap)... so far they have survived daily use at the office, gym, and a few airplane rides... the are usually transported around in the provided case whilst in my pockets...

sound is still amazing as ever, :D.

Once it decompressed, the extra foam hung outside of the sound tubes. I took a small pair of scissors and carefully cut away the excess foam - I think dweaver did this process too with his SM3. What I have in sound now is the mids slightly more recessed than the SM3 (they were less forward anyway); more forward treble; and believe it or not, deeper bass than with the SM3.

Felt the same about the SM3 bass.

Any new thoughts about the bass on SM3 and UM3X? Someone here wrote it's comparable after first impressions. Do you still think that way?

Well, I don't have the SM3 anymore, but I am willing to extend the branch of friendship for you guys who do and get another batch of the Sensorcoms in for those needing them.  PM me if you want some and I will let you know prices etc. Am away tomorrow, so it'll be thursday before I order them. Speak now or forever hold your earpiece.

Well, I had been set to sell mine- I felt the sound was a bit veiled but pleasant, just not a big enough improvement from my X10 to warrant the money spent. Well, after removing the green filter inside the metal sleeves (thanks dweaver) and listening for the last several days, I can say these are staying. The clarity is great, no sibilance or edgy highs (using long comply tips). The kicker is the total seal and lack of need for adjustment once in. These are great for walks, traveling and airplane use.

Word of caution- getting the sleeves out can be tricky and loosing the tiny green filters is terribly easy. Be prepared for this. I inquired if Earsonics could send more filters but have not heard.

Maybe one of you fellow French Head-fi'rs could inquire for me as well?

I tried every single-tip on the sm3 and couldn't get deeper bass or more quantity on the sm3 than um3x.

um3x definitely has more impact, by quite a margin.

So I was listening to these after not having listened to my JH13's for a few days. They sound GREATTTTT! Amazing headphones. If the SM2 is close, I think that is the king of introductory IEMs for a beginning headphile. Still using the stock Comply, but I just ordered some Shure Gray Soft Flex Silicone Sleeves / Tips (in Fit Kit from Earphone Solutions). Pretty excited about that.

The key for me is to not listen to these with the JH13 fresh on my mind. I've been comparing them too much, and I can't really enjoy the SM3 experience. If I do that I really like these and think they are a great buy.

I just received the Sensorcoms this week and IMHO they are far better than the stock double flange silicon tips Earsonics supplies.  They really open the high end and are super comfortable and easy to seal.  I'm really enjoying listening to the combo with a iBasso D10.  HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

This a great service you are doing to the rest of the community for offering to order these!
