Can anyone comment on the quality of this LOD

Well, I was looking on monoprice.com (great website for cables btw) and ran across this.

Has anyone heard this? it seems like a pretty amazing deal to me.

Keep us informed.  If its real I'd get one for my old, crusty Nano.  Doubt there is a capacitor in it.

well, I would buy it but I don't currently own an amp. but they sell extremely large interconnects (it's two coaxial cables thick!) and all other cables purchased from there are great, especially hdmi cables. I'll buy one as soon as I get an amp.

Looks fine to me, but are you sure you want it that long? Seems like a pain in the neck to me.

So long as you're not a big believer of cables dramatically effecting performance, it works great. Its durable and the 30 pin connector locks in tight. The jack isn't gold plated although....

wow, didn't see the length there!

 

do you think I could just take a rock to the dock part and just use a shorter wire? Those dock connectors sell for like 7 bucks alone.

Hard to tell much about the quality.

Do not expect top notch quality for just $2.26 though.

Same here. I was actually looking forward to picking one of those up until they just vanished from Monoprice's site.
