Not using this as much since I got a Sony SACD to use as player and transport.
Small size, great as transport, but pretty decent sound on its own. Also comes with volume-controlled outputs so can drive amp directly, as well as a fairly decent headphone amp. I've used it as a standalone player to drive an amp, as a player to use in bedroom system driving headphojne amp or with internal headphone amp, and as a transport with separate DAC. Unit is in very good condition, and has one updated dual opamp to an LM4562.
Reason the price is low is that 3 times, about 4-5 months ago, this had problems reading CD's. I'd put a CD in, it would close and spin, but would give an error. Eject and re-close, all was fine. It literally happend 3 times, with 3 different CD's. And since then, with maybe 2-3 times being used per week for a good 3+ months, no more read errors (even with same CD's). Not sure if it was something that could get worse, or a one time thing. Just wanted to be completely open on this.
Can get pics up later, but sale includes player, remote, manual, basic power cord, and box.
I take Paypal, no fees charged. Will need to see about an outer box to get size and weight estimates for shipping, but think in the $25 range in USA.
