How do i break down large quotes to answer in each section

Can somebody please tell me how to do it?

like if someone writes a long post, and you want to answer each and every one of his posts/paragraphs in chronological order(section by section) instead of writing a long post yourself, how do you do that?

thank you for your help

Don't you just click on the quote button and move the cursor and in bold type a comeback that will end the argument in your favor once and for all?

You quote the post, then copy and paste the quote as many times as needed. Then edit and write your individual replies.

Its difficult to copy and paste in this new site - I am always asked to use control V and X in a window - very tedious, is there a solution?  Also where's the dictionary?

woooot. it worked ! thanks krmathis, but I only want the name on the first quote, how do i remove the person's username on the other 2 quotes. And krmathis, yours says 'View Post' after my username when you quoted, but when i quoted you, there is an icon that looks like a L and has a arrow pointing right.  How did you get yours to say 'View Post'

Just edit it out. Select the "Originally Posted by ..." text and delete it

I see that, but I just performed a regular copy/paste. Nothing special.

Might be related to the OS or browser and how it keep formatting in the clipboard? I do not know.

You can also do it in the HTML code, which is accessible by clicking source.

Either way, its still a pain in the butt.
