I've been on a quest to find a particular sound signature and just haven't found it yet. The collection is piling up and I need to make space. My loss is your gain; please take a look and help me further my quest. Open to sales or trades (singular or combos of items) for more cans, amps, portable sources, cameras, harmonicas, exotic animals, indentured servitude, whatever. The only thing I'm not looking for is iems. Preference for Canadian head-fi'ers simply due to shipping costs. Open to offers and counter-offers, as befitting of the nature of bartering.
All items listed below are brand new or in like-new condition unless otherwise specified (see individual listings for specifics). I baby all my gear like a good head-fier and everything comes from a smoke and pet free home. I'm also slightly ocd about cleanliness and tend to clean my ears and/or shower before putting headphones on, as well as wipe the pads down when I'm done. I have more pics if interested.

Cheers!
edit: summary of what's left for those too lazy to scroll down or read the rest of the thread:
Bottlehead Crack + Speedball upgrade (trade for a kit)
Grado SR125
Koss Porta Pro
Koss KSC75
These ones I am less likely to part with, but who knows if the right offer comes along:
AKG K240 Sextett MP
Bottlehead Crack + Speedball
- See my listing here: link
- I'm basically just looking to trade a completed and functional amp for another kit because I feel like building another one.
Grado SR125
- lettering slightly worn, but otherwise in great shape
- no box
Koss Porta Pro
- mint condition, has carrying pouch but no original box
- oh weird, the picture looks like I'm missing a finger
Koss KSC75
- inline volume control
- no box
AKG K240 Sextett (MP)
- new old stock, original box
- incredibly detailed, I wish I had a proper amp to drive these things to their full potential
- I just got these and absolutely love them, but listing for the sake of completeness; would only trade for something awesometothemax
- I also have a bottlehead crack amp that I intend to build (still in original package so far), unless someone wants to trade for both the amp and sextett finished building the amp a couple days ago... they sound awesome together
Sansa Fuze, silver, 8gb, v1 firmware (withdrawn for now)
- v1 firmware so you can rockbox it (it works, I tried), though it is currently back to Fuze firmware
- a whole bunch of accessories: hard case, soft case, AC charger, car DC charger, screen guard, extra cable, lanyard, the tiniest cloth in the world
firmware shot:
AKG K340 electrostat/dynamic + G&W T2.6f tube/hybrid amp (sold)
separate post here: http://www.head-fi.org/forum/thread/512682
AKG K240 Sextett LP (sold)
- like new, no box
- fully restored (new pads, headband, elastics) and recabled with Canare wire and Neutrik plug
Audio Technica ATH-AD700 - (traded)
- original box
- the open version of the above, with flatter frequency response and less resonance
AKG K701 (traded)
- tentatively putting this one up for trade, interested in a Denon
Sennheiser HD580 +HD600 grills + HD650 cable (sold)
- like new condition, comes with box
- includes original grills and cables
Denon MD5000 (MarkL mod on the D5000) (traded)
- MarkL mod, J$ pads
- purchased from lawtonaudio.com
Audio Technica ATH-ESW9A - (traded)
- original box, no pouch
- might be ESW9? box doesn't say A
- bass actually feels stronger than the M50 (probably due to better clarity)
- finer detail overall, approaching K701
- not quite as aggressive still present (for lack of a better word)
Audio Technica ATH-M50 - (traded)
- original box and pouch, missing original adapter (think I accidentally shipped it off with another headphone)
- punchier sound
- maybe trades; I bought these at Canadian prices so selling here is a terrible loss for me
Sennheiser HD438 (sold)
- brand new, open box (though it was one of those fiendish blister seal packages that nearly drew blood when I tried to retrieve the headphones, so it's open but mostly intact)
- comes with two detacheable cables
- surprisingly light, snazzy looks, doesn't heat up at all for closed cans
Sennheiser PX200-ii (traded)
- brand new, still in box, comes with carrying case
- portable closed can with decent isolation, very detailed bass
Sony MDR-V6 (traded)
- brand new, no box, comes with case and 1/8 to 1/ screw on adapter
- folds up incredibly well, very comfy, kinda warm, very long cord (that's both straight and coiled)
- old school looks and construction (ie: built like a tank and you can probably fight off hobos with them)
Sony MDR-V6 (sold)
- selling for a friend, no box
- pads are pretty beat up, but the rest is in good condition (interestingly, I find the pads actually more comfortable and seal better now with the stitching undone, as now it sits like a circumaural whereas a new V6 it's almost like a really big suparaural)
- headband still good, lettering on top is faded
- make an offer
Grado SR80 (traded)
FiiO E5 (sold)
- I think this little amp really does add a little bit to the sound (for better)
- gives a huge bass boost when you position the switch halfway
- I mostly used it as a volume attenuator from a line-out since I tend to listen at ultra-low volumes
Shure SE 210 (traded)
- I thought I would give iems a try, but they just aren't for me
- no box, comes with case and all original accessories (unopened)
Alessandro MS1i (traded)
- original pizza box, 1/8-->1/ gold adapter, both bowl earpads and comfies (or flats? I'm not sure which they are)
- sat on my head for all of 5 minutes
- feels like a smoothed out SR125
Fostex T40 (orthodynamic) (traded)
- Fostex RP Stereo Headphone T40
- from my understanding this is the vintage v1 version
- detachable cord
- in very good shape for its age, no obvious flaws
- astonishing sound really, but *very* power hungry
M-Audio Studiophile Q40 (gifted)
Shure SRH 840 (sold)
- no box, have pouch, coiled cable version
balanced Audio Technica ATH-A700 (sold)
- original box, balanced to dual xlr, comes with adapter for single ended use (1/")
- wow probably the best bass I've heard, clean and controlled without overwhelming
- very light, super comfy (and I'm terribly picky about comfort)
JBL Ref 410 (sold)
- original box and cloth case, folds up very small, quite durable, inline volume control
- from what I've read, these are similar to the AKG K26 but with a better headband and stronger low end
- like tiny bass cannons doing a karate kid drum punch to your ears
Sennheiser PX100 - (gifted)
- still have the original box and hard case
- super light and comfy, you forget you're even wearing them
- strong bass that belies their tiny size
- basically planning on using these as trade fodder to move up to bigger items
Koss KSC75 (sold)
- I originally got three of these thinking I would try my hand at modding, but I figure I'll just list them here for interest sake and for combos with other cans to match trade values
- no boxes, only one has ever been used (barely, w/inline volume control), other two are brand new (no volume control)
- basically planning on using these as trade fodder to move up to bigger items
Orthodynamic: Yamaha YH-1 (sold)
- YH-1 drivers mounted into a Senn HD600 frame, fully damped, HD650 cable
- excellent condition, very speaker-like presentation
- neutral and accurate sound, airy high end, smooth mids, bass is lean yet strong, roomy soundstage
- I hate to see this go, but I've sold off my big amps and need to simplify the collection
Beyerdynamic DT880 - 600 ohm (sold)
- I obtained these recently and the sound just isn't quite for me (I guess I still can't find a Beyer that I like).
- in pristine condition, comes with the original box and hefty carrying case
Phiaton MS 400 (traded)
- no box, but have original case and adapter
- great for bass heads
- sexy looks
- subtle resonance that extends the midrange beautifully
- one of my favourites, not likely to trade but listing for the sake of completeness
- my review is here: link
There's other stuff in my profile too if people want to take a gander.
